Employee Turnover Rate

Due to the full-time make-up of our labor force, MidAmerican experiences virtually no absenteeism or turnover with our crews, the two most significant detriments to consistent quality cleaning.

• Eighty-nine percent of our employees have worked on the same account for at least the last 36 months.

• Ninety-two percent were absent 2 days or less during the previous 12 months. Eighty-nine percent did not miss a day.

Employees are required to notify the Operations Manager if they will be unable to perform their work. Day workers are required to give notice by 6:00 a.m. of the work day they will miss. Night personnel are required to contact the operations manager by 1:00 p.m.

MidAmerican maintains one floating cleaner for every nine assigned cleaners. Floaters are experienced employees, ranked above the Crew Leader and below the Site Supervisor. Floaters are used to fill-in where extra help is needed, as well as to perform special floor care work.
